Globetech is to provide DESS Aquaculture Shipping AS with all necessary ICT services.

Globetech will manage all operational IT needs onboard DESS Aqua vessels and also at their onshore office, providing the latest solutions and systems integrations, while ensuring cyber security is properly managed.

Aquaculture is a new industry to enter Globetechs’ already diversified portfolio consisting of a wide range of vessels from PSVs to tankers, AHTS to tugs and CLVs to VLCCs. DESS Aquaculture has a fleet of 8 live fish carriers, 1 harvest vessel and 3 service vessels.

“The emerging aquaculture industry is highly applicable for our maritime experience and knowledge. We are very proud to be the preferred partner to DESS Aqua and their operations moving forward”, says Atle Fiskebekk, COO at Globetech AS.

DESS Aqua aims to become one of the world’s largest aquaculture shipping companies, providing services to the aquaculture farming industry worldwide. DESS Aqua has a modern fleet of vessels with flexible configurations designed for efficient operations, gentle fish handling and environmentally sound solutions.
